Indian Navy Sailor Recruitment 2019-2020 Apply Online (2700 Vacancies) to fill 2,700 vacancies for Matric, Secondary Senior and Artificial apprentices in 2020. The Indian Navy has invited on-line applications for Sailor for Senior Secondary Recruit (SSR), & Artificer Apprentice (AA) applications from unmarried male candidates in August 2020. Digital registration is last requested on 18 November 2019.

Age Limit: Candidates should be born between 1st August 2000 to 31st July 2003 (Both dates inclusive).

Pay and Allowances: During training period, a stipend of ₹ 14,600/- per month. On successful completion of initial training, they  will be placed in Level 3 of the Defence Pay Matrix (₹ 21,700 – ₹ 69,100)

Educational Qualifications:

Sailors for Senior Secondary Recruit (SSR)

Qualified in 10+2 (Matric with 12th class) examination with Maths & Physics and at least one of these subjects:- Chemistry/ Biology/ Computer Science from the Board of School Education recognised by MHRD, Govt. of India.

Sailors for Artificer Apprentice (AA)

Qualified in 10+2 examination with 60% or more marks in aggregate with Maths & Physics and at least one of these subjects:- Chemistry/ Biology/ Computer Science from the Boards of School Education recognised by MHRD, Govt. of India.

Selection Process: Computer based Examination (100 Marks), Qualifying Physical Fitness Test (PFT) and Medical Examination.

Computer-based Examination:

(a) One common examination will be conducted for AA and SSR entries.

(b)  The question paper will be computer-based with a total of 100 questions, each carrying 01 mark.

(c) The question paper will be bilingual (Hindi & English) and objective type (multiple-choice).

(d) The question paper will comprise of four sections i.e. English, Science, Mathematics and General Knowledge.

(e) The standard of the question paper will be that of 10+2 Syllabus & sample papers for  the examination are available on Join Indian Navy website.

(f) Duration of examination will be one hour.

(g) The candidates are required to pass in all sections and in aggregate.The Navy reserves the right to determine the pass marks in each Section and in aggregate.

Examination Fee: ₹ 215/- paid through online mode only by using net banking or by using Visa/ Master/ RuPay Credit/ Debit Card/ UPI. There is no fee for SC / ST Category candidates.

How to apply: Only through the official website of Join Indian Navy on 8 November 2019 can eligible candidates apply online. The last time electronic applications have been submitted is 18/11/2019.
